Maserati will fit the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV tyre, specifically designed for SUVs and Crossovers, as OE fitment on the new Maserati Levante.
The close collaboration between Maserati and Goodyear continues, with the aim of developing high-performance tyres capable of meeting the demands for handling and safety of these luxury and sporty SUVs.
A tyre specifically designed to deliver excellent grip thanks to ActiveBraking technology, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV offers short braking distances on wet and dry roads – giving motorists better control, leaving them to enjoy the luxury driving experience. The high-surface silica compound ensures grip and handling, fast turn-in response when cornering and fuel efficiency.
Two sizes of the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV have been homologated on the Maserati Levante: 265/45 R20 108Y XL and 265/50 R19 110 Y XL. These tyres are marked “MGT” to indicate that they have been homologated by Maserati as Original Equipment.
“We are proud to announce that the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV has been selected as Original Equipment by such a prestigious brand as Maserati, to be fitted on the new Levante” comments Nick Harley, Managing Director OE Consumer EMEA.
“A tyre that is particularly suited to the adventurous soul of the SUV and thanks to its cutting-edge technology enables Maserati drivers to get the most out of their luxury driving experience and thus fully enjoy the journey.”
