Following in the footsteps of Toyota, the car brand named the Most Admired Car Company in the World , Goodyear claimed top spot among tyre brands in the Motor Vehicle Parts category.
Remarkably, Goodyear has finished ahead of its key rivals in the category for the past five years.
Started in 1983, the Fortune Most Admired List recognises companies for their corporate reputations, including their record on aspects such as innovation, people management, and social responsibility.
Overall, electrical component manufacturer BOSCH was recognised as being the Most Admired business in the parts category with a score of 7.22, just ahead of Goodyear’s 6.5.
While Michelin and Continental Tires finished 4th and 5th respectively among the eight brands named.
The other top eight businesses in the Motor Vehicle Parts category included Toyota Industries, Johnson Controls, Lear, and drive-line component manufacturer, ZF Friedrichshafen.
